Ceramics
My plate was made using clay, first i had to kneed the clay to rid clay the air bubbles, then create a slab with the specific thickness that I wanted, 1 inch, then I molded the clay to form the plate. Next I smoothed the edges to make it look like a real plate. After that I underglazed the plate with the design of my choice, whch I previously had sketches of. It took me a week and a half to underglaze, putting three coats of each color on it to make them stick. Next my plate was fired in the kiln. Finallly I glazed my plate with a clear glaze, to make the colors pop and it was refired and complete.
